Logo

NYC logo - N Y C uppercase letters with no spacing between, bold, block-like sans-serif typeface, trademarked circled R is in the upper right corner

The NYC logo was designed and trademarked in 2007. It’s the primary identifier for all of New York City government. It has become a symbol of trust, reliability, and authority. On digital channels, it helps us communicate that content is authentic.

Logo versions

You can download two versions of the logo: a default version and a version with a registered trademark (®) symbol. Use the registered trademark version if the logo will be bigger than 600 x 200 pixels. In smaller presentations, the symbol is not visible so can be excluded.

Logo sizing

A white NYC logo sits on a black background in the global navigation. This navigation persists across all websites to help users navigate. The registered trademark symbol is not used because it is not legible at this scale.
